I read a book titled Gone, by Michael Grant (http://www.amazon.com/Gone-Michael-Grant/dp/0061448761). Anyone over the age of 14 disappears one day. The teachers poof. Anyone driving poofs- leaving their cars, and any kids in the cars, to wreck. It’s absolute chaos.
And it’s got me thinking (and hopefull you, too)… What if everyone was Gone? (Okay, I’m fifteen, you may be older than fourteen… pretend you are the one exception). If you’re in the mood for creative questions and feedback that will make me smile
, please answer one or more of the following questions.
(1) What would you actually do right away?
(2) Let’s say you’re past the part where you care about your disappeared parents and friends… Would you go and pilfer stores? Pilfer or live in someone else’s house? Where would you go? What would you take? (Keep in mind that if you left money for anything from a store, it would be taken swiped within seconds, so don’t worry about prices or ethics)
(3) Would you go and help anyone? The babies, crying and scared in their homes. The animals who are locked up at PetsMart?
(4) Um, anything else you want to add??
